This one is essential for tidying up data, getting rid of those pesky extra spaces your human eyes can't see!

=TRIM(C3)

Cell C3 contains the data you want to remove all extra spaces from. In our table, we can't always tell where the extra spaces are! Every name here has extra spaces until we run the TRIM function.
